Week 4, we covered…

1. Can you explain the difference in Matthew 7:21-23 and Romans 10:13?
2.In the garden of Gethsemane, when Jesus was praying and the disciples could not stay awake, was Jesus’ disappointment part of the atonement?
3. In Hebrews 6:4-8, please explain and can you barely make it into Heaven? Can you lose your salvation?
4. Is there such a thing as an unforgiveable sin? Do you go to hell if you have an abortion?
5. What is our role as Christians to expose evil? What does that look like toward non-believers versus believers?
 
Christian Disciplines
  1. Prayer: What is the difference between being prayer for and allowing hands to be laid on you to be prayed over?
  2. Please explain John 14:13-14, and John 16:23-24. So many times we pray for healing or cures in Jesus name.
  3. What strategy do you employ for constant Bible reading and prayer? How long did that take to become a routine?
  4. Christian Community/ Accountability: What is accountability? How do we know when something is grievous enough that we should hold someone accountable. How do we hold them accountable?
  5. Fasting: How often should a Christian fast?
Baptism: My church background never meant much to me, and I came to really know Jesus as a middle-aged adult. I’m interested in being baptized, but I was baptized as a baby. Should I be baptized again?
